Simon Rose and Steve Caplin are the authors of Amazon No. 1 title Dad Stuff as well as the rather less bestselling More Dad Stuff and Stuff the Turkey.

Simon is a winner of the Orange Prize for Screenwriting and wrote the film The Flying Scotsman, starring Jonny Lee Miller and Brian Cox. He reviews films each week for the BBC’s General News Service and has written a range of books including The Classic Film Guide, The Book of Brilliant Hoaxes and the novel Filthy Lucre. His website is simonrose.biz, but for that to be of any use, he needs to update it first.

Steve is an award-winning photomontage artist whose work appears regularly in newspapers and magazines including the Guardian, Independent, Sunday Telegraph and Radio Times. As well as writing a fortnightly column for MacUser magazine, he is the author of several books on computer graphics, including the perennial How to Cheat in Photoshop. He is the founder of thefullmontage.com, an image library for Photoshop artists.

They both live in London.

But on opposite sides of the Thames.
