Are they fans of French Connection at the BBC?

Following a few links on the BBC’s news website to keep up to date with the latest on the MPs’ expenses scandal, I found that one link wasn’t working. I wouldn’t normally examine the error message on my screen in detail but the conjunction of letters in the middle rather leapt out at me.

It’s hard to see at this size, but if it’s enlarged (or click on the image above), you can make out this phrase roughly half way through:

It may be mere coincidence, though I’d love to think it stems from a bored BBC employee hacked off, not just with MPs’ expenses, but also the latest revelations about the astronomical pay of BBC senior management.

Print it as a slogan on a T-shirt, though, and I can’t help feeling it could catch on.
